"Moon King" is set in 1869, and is science fiction with a definite steam punk vibe. Emma, the young heroine, wakes in an infirmary on the Moon with no memory of who she is or how she came to be there. She befriends a boy, James, who is in the same situation and together they explore the strange society they have found themselves in, where everyone is kindness itself, but no-one is fazed by their bizarre location, all happy to live under the protection of an unseen 'Moon King'. Then James goes missing - and suddenly, Emma is the only one who remembers him.
